Caro Guzmán is a classically trained actor and self-taught filmmaker with an appetite for thought-provoking, human-driven stories. She's especially inspired by tenacious female protagonists transcending their internalized beliefs.

As an actor, Caro trained at the Atlantic Theatre Co. Acting Conservatory in New York and currently studies at The Last Acting Studio in Los Angeles. View her acting reel.

As a filmmaker, Caro’s goal is to translate her inner dialogues into stories that reflect a shared human experience, hoping viewers can recognize their own humanity in them, and leave the work with a sense of belonging. In Spring 2025, Caro’s short screenplay, PENDEJA, was a semi-finalist in the Shore Scripts Short Film Fund. Pendeja is currently in development.
